• Abode (Fremont) • HomeFirst Services (Milpitas) • Berkeley Food & Housing Project (2 locations in Berkeley) • Options Recovery Service (Berkeley) • Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center (Berkeley) • Building Opportunities for Self Sufficiency (Berkeley) • FESCO Family Center (Hayward) • Images on the Rise [for women and children] (Hayward, Oakland) • Life House Recovery Homes (Hayward) • Beyond Emancipation (Oakland) • Covenant House [for youths-young adults] (Oakland) • Jobs for Homeless Consortium (Oakland) • Partnership for Affordable Housing (Oakland) • PRC Baker Places (SF) • Larkin Street Services [for emergency shelters and transitional living] (SF) • SF Women’s Rehab Foundation
*While housing models are based on the principle of low-barrier housing first, different providers have different barriers (e.g. a minimum period of sobriety). Most providers on this list offer transitional living, some offer permanent re-housing or emergency shelters.
